Yash has just finished his internship program in Civil Engineering in Brisbane. He received an employment offer from the same company afterwards.

Why did you choose to complete an internship?

I believe that internship is a great way to kickstart my career pathway in construction industry.

What have you learned the most during your internship?

I have experienced most of site engineer duties, Inspection, Inductions, management, material orders, estimation, etc.

What benefits do you feel Australian Internships contributed to your internship?

Choosing AI was the life-changing decision for me. They supported, keep me updated and reviewed how I was doing with weekly duties over the 3-month internship. AI tried their best to place me an internship and I really appreciate it.

What advice would you give future interns regarding internships?

Work hard then you will never fail! I have given 101% without hesitation since I believe that the experience gained during this time would be invaluable for my future prospects. I hardly got 5 hours sleeping during my internship period as I was also doing another job to cover all my expenses. Although it was such a difficult period, I embraced the challenges and I am deeply grateful for the internship opportunity here, which then turned out to be an employment offer.

What do you enjoy most about Australia?

Australia is beautiful country. Enjoy as much as you can because it's a never ending process.
