·  Why did you choose to complete an Internship?

Because coming as international students studying and living in Australia, we cannot work in a fast-paced environment in Australia. If we want to become highly competitive, it is compulsory to do some transition such as an internship.

·  What have you learned the most during your internship?

As my main field is IT, during the 5 months internship, the most effective learning from my company are:

 (1) Strengthen your English language in an advanced way, because you have to deal with a wide variety of clients and colleagues 

(2) Build up your social network in the future, such as meeting with professional IT specialists

(3) Be more familiar with local Australian company's culture, working environment, and formal procedures of handling tasks

·  What benefits do you feel AI contributed to your internship and time in Australia?

AI provided me a rare opportunity during COVID-19 and saved me much time on searching and finding a suitable company. Furthermore, they have offered plenty of preparations for me before entering the company.

·  What advice would you give future interns?

My advice is that you must be patient during the internship because it always depends on your performance to become a formal employee. Remember, be proactive and ask any questions if you don’t understand. 

·  What do you enjoy most about Australia?

My personal thought is that Australia is a well-developed country and it provides many opportunities for internationals to become successful. The working environment is relaxing and enjoyable, you will never regret working and living in Australia.
